Glow Germ Program
Showing our children the importance of proper hand washing.
Helping to prevent
seasonal flu and to prepare for Pandemic Flu.
A team effort between the health district and the Clinton,
Old Saybrook and Region 4 school systems.
Children are taught
proper hand washing after which they rub a safe ultraviolet
light-sensitive gel on their hands.
They then wash their hands and put them underneath the ultraviolet
light which reveals areas they missed.
