Programs We Offer


The purpose of our health education services is to improve the overall health of our communities. We have developed our programs with the purpose to prevent illness and disease, promote healthy lifestyles, and to have a better informed community.

 Our Health Education Programs/Services include but are not limited to: 

  • Flu Prevention

    • Promoting frequent hand washing

  • Skin Cancer Prevention

    • Early detection and sun safety tips

  • Lead Poisoning Prevention

    • Education on identifying sources of lead and how to protect infants and children

  • Lyme Disease Prevention

    • Information on deer ticks, how to remove a tick safely, and how to reduce tick habitat

  • General Nutrition

    • General dietary guidelines provided by the USDA's MyPlate Initiative

  • Oral Health

    • Promoting regular preventative dental services

  • Information on current health concerns and emerging diseases (ex. Zika Virus)
